The 2018 Oscar-winning animated film’s follow-up, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, is a visually gorgeous, emotionally stirring and action-packed movie. As in the original movie Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) and Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) work together to thwart a fresh threat to the multiverse in this sequel.
Even better than in the first movie the animation in Across the Spider-Verse is stunning. The producers create a visually striking universe that is both realistic and stylised using a range of techniques such as 3D animation, rotoscoping, and hand-drawn animation. Fans of the Spider-Man comics and animated series will find a tonne of Easter eggs in the movie.
Across the Spider-Verse’s narrative is just as impressive as its animation. Family, friendship, and identity are all explored in the film in a way that is both endearing and thought-provoking. The voice acting is excellen and the characters are well-developed and relatable.
