Evidently, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 emerges as a formidable contender in the mid-range segment, surpassing even MediaTek’s robust Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset.
Previously, Qualcomm had been lagging behind in the 7-series chipset category compared to MediaTek’s Dimensity lineup. However, with the advent of the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3, the narrative is shifting. Recently, we had the opportunity to test the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset in action through the OnePlus Ace 3V, the first smartphone to feature this chipset from China. Our comprehensive benchmarking tests focused on evaluating the performance of the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset in key areas such as CPU, GPU, modem, and more.”

Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3: Geekbench 6

We ran the Geekbench 6 test to evaluate the CPU performance of the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3. It achieved a single-core score of 1,747 and a multi-core score of 4,511 on the Ace 3V  This is a remarkable performance coming from a mid-range chipset.
